5 Months

Lucas is 5 months old!

He weighs around 17 pounds.

He smiles at everyone but his daddy can get him to smile just by walking in the room.

He wears mostly 3-6 month clothes and some 6-9.

He talks and squeals all the time. He is so HAPPY.

His hair has really started growing this month. We can actually style a little mohawk. It is so adorable.

When he gets excited he kicks and wiggles so hard he almost falls out of my arms,

His favorite toys are his teddy bear and elmo but he likes our faces and hands more than anything.

He can roll both ways but doesn't really have any interest in it.

He has been working in sitting up but can't really do it on his own quite yet.

He started baby food this month...he hates rice cereal but loves his veggies!

This month he went to the beach and Tennessee for the very first time.

He is consistantly sleeping throught the night now...a nice present for his mommy who had to go back to work this week :(.

He had his first ear infection...in both ears along with the croop. Poor thing he was so pitiful!

Every Sunday we eat lunch with PawPaw. Lucas loves playing with Peyton and hanging out with his family.

Tennessee

Lucas took his very first trip to Mountain City to visit Momma and lots of other family. We can't wait to go back!

Myrtle Beach

We took Lucas to the beach for the first time a few weeks ago. Brandon only got to spend a few days there because of work but we had lots of fun! Lucas and I spent the rest of the week with my mom and grandma! :)

Four Months

Lucas is 4 months old!

Height: 24 1/2 inches (50%)

Weight: 14 lbs 4 oz (50%)

-Lucas is so much fun. We don't have to work as hard to get a smile out of him. When he smiles he scrunces up his whole face!

- He interacts with everyone.

- He is getting better at rolling from his stomach to his back.

-He loves tummy time and can now actually bat at his toys. It is so funny to watch him try to reach. he shoots his arm strait up and tries his best to land somewhere!

- He wears some 3 month and 6 month clothing but is mostly in 3-6 and is in a size 2 diaper.

- He sleeps from 9-5 but usually wakes up for his paci once or twice.

 

Lucas went to VBS for the first time. He and Nolan are best buddies!

Our neighbor came over to do a photo shoot when Lucas was 3 and a half months old. She took some awesome shots! Thankyou Heather! I think Lucas is taking after his daddy because as soon as the camera comes out he looks away and stops smiling! Sorry sweet boy but there will be MANY more pictures in your future!
